Welcome to Poulsen Pooches!
We help homeless dogs find new homes. This is a big problem on our streets - not just garbage - stray dogs! That’s right! Many people try to ignore the problem and just get on with their daily lives. The dogs are mostly dirty and probably diseased. People are afraid of being bitten and generally stay away from these poor animals. Well, here at Poulsen Pooches, we decided to do something about it.
By taking stray dogs off the streets we are making our city a more attractive place for locals and visitors alike. But what is a vibrant, happy animal with out an owner? This is the next step in the rehabilitation of the dogs at Poulsen’s Pooches. Our mission is to unite these dogs with caring families who live in Helsinki and the surrounding area. We demand that the families have the following qualities:

Patience
Love for animals
Time for animals
Understanding of what makes a healthy animal
Commitment to a lifelong bond with their animal of choice

Please consider helping Poulsen Pooches as we try to clean up our great city and give stray animals a new home. We don’t just require financial support. We also require permission from local government to advertise our efforts in public buildings to help raise awareness of the issue.
