You are 37 years old.
You have spent the last 13 years working as an accountant for a construction company.
Bored, you suddenly decided to quit your job!
You spent 2 years traveling around the world, learning new languages and experiencing new things.
Now, you are broke. You have no money. You need to find a new job.
You decide to create an online website to host your resume. It will have x different pages:
The site should have the same menu bar on each page, linking the website together eg:
The introduction page should be like a letter. You should introduce yourself and explain your strengths and why you would be a good employee. This page should also include at least one image of you.
You will also need to explain why you took 2 years to travel around the world. Some employers will not like this. You will need to convince them that this was an excellent life decision.
The education page should list your education, from high school until now. It should be layed out like a table eg.
The work history page should list all of the jobs you have had in your life, including any breaks from work eg and should be layed out like a table eg. This page should include a few images of you doing work.
My goals should introduce your future dreams and aspirations.
We Design is a creative effort! So... be creative! Apart from the guidelines given above, you are free to be as creative as you want to be.
Be ready to solve problems as you design your site. Not everything will be as easy as you think.
And don't forget to have fun! Let your imagination be free to create something inspiring.
Decide when to use p, h1, img, table tags etc.
Decide when to use inline styles.
Should each page have the same style section? That would make your design very consistent and nice to look at.
