ABOUT TERM 3

In term 3, I got a chance to learn more about coding and web designing, it was super complicated and difficult because it was like a different language where you have to communicate with the computer using all these tags, words, and numbers.

It was a dark time where I suffer a lot from web design. However, it was a very great experience and I'm very pleased to be able to suffer so that I can understand these basic functions, I also believe that in the future, this skill will help me a lot.

There is also many basics lesson on Mister Moosi where you can learn and follow the instructions to create websites!

ABOUT TERM 4

In term 4, it is like combining all the things I have learned in term 1, 2, and 3 to create a portfolio website to showcase all my works this year during Technology class. Here I am writing this, this is my term 4 work, you are visiting my portfolio website.

Beside from creating a portfolio website, it is also required to work with a client in AAVN to create a product for that person, example like a website, a poster, a brochure, etc. The product can be anything within the skill that I have learned in term 1,2, and 3.

I can choose who I work with in the case of that person also agree to work with me, and so Mr. Andrew Mathie who is teaching Math and Science in our school agreed to be my client.

Above is the Star Wars poster that I got inspired to create a poster for Mr. Andrew for his class, knowing that one of his favorite movie is Star Wars, I took it into idea and below is what I first created and showed to him.

The green, blue, and grey rocket in the picture is from one of the flat design galaxy tutorial I found on Youtube. At first, I just want to try out the tutorial, but after I put it in the poster, I found it to be very suitable and just leave it there.

As being a student in Mr. Andrew class for two years, I noticed many of his "signature" class rules, and what he usually said in class. As a result, I put it all in the poster, with many more objects that I created by my own!

So here we are with the final product, I'm very glad that I satisfied Mr. Andrew with my work, it was such a fun experience, I really enjoy this project of working with a client!

OVERALL VIEW

Being able to be in this class was such a great choice and great honor, it was one of the best decision in my high school's life to participate in this Technology class.

As I will be majoring in Graphic Design in California State University of Fullerton, this class has helped me a lot with so many skills, and practices. I had a very memorable time here.

And I want to thank you myself again for being so smart on the 1st or 2nd week of school to decide to switch class and be able to be in this Technology class!
