2D Design


Getting to know how to use a Wacom Intuos with Photoshop CS6.

SUCCESS: As you can see, there are major improvements from the very first piece to some of my later ones. I can effectively use a Wacom and be able to draw somewhat at the same level of my traditional art skills. My lines flow a lot better and are no longer too stiff. I started to get use to drawing on Photoshop and learnt how to properly utilize all the tools to aid my creative proccess.


STRUGGLES: At the beginning, it was extremely hard to get use to using a Wacom as I'm used to drawing traditionally. The feel of a tablet is far from the feel when one draws on paper, so it made me feel unfamiliar resulting in stiff lines as my flow was disrupted. My coordination was also off as drawing with Wacom requires me to look at the screen and draws on the tablet so it took quite a while for me to get use to the new hand to eye coordination. I also took too long to draw as working digitally allow me to zoom in and micro-manage every little detail of my drawings so it was hard to stay on task.

3D Design


Learning how to use Blender.

SUCCESS: Although challenging, it was overall a very fun and a potentially useful experience. I learned to think in a 3 dimensional space which help me visualized the obeject I am creating, giving me more creative power. I also believe I have gained some basic skills on blender and can use some of the tools.


STRUGGLES: This is my first time using any 3D program and since I have no idea what I am doing, it was extremely confusing as a whole. I didn't know how to use the tools and I was confuse with the dimensions because I am used to 2D Art. Most of the keyboard shortcuts were very different from the Adobe programs so it threw me off for a little while as I have a habit of frequently using keyboard shortcuts when I'm working.

Working with Client


SUCCESS: My client (Mr. Tower) was very sastisfied with the my result and used it for the SUPA Symposium event!


STRUGGLES: I didn't know what SUPA Symposium was going to be about or what was the appropriate style that Mr. Tower wanted so I had to do research to find all the information I needed.
