Your team will present your web site.

You will be the rock band, or the student president candidate!

Instead of using a powerpoint, your will use your website to help you present your idea.

Presentation Part A

This is the team presentation.

You will introduce yourselves and attempt to get your audience interested in your website.

This presentation should be about 5 minutes long.

You will need to practice your part to achieve this time limit.

Presentation Part B

This is the individual presentation.

Each team member will step forward and present an aspect of their experience during the project period. Some ideas are:

• My web design nightmare!
• Coding and me.
• My web design journey.
• What I'm most proud of and why.

Your individual talk should last for between 1 and 2 minutes.

You will include images of your work for your part of the presentation to help the audience understand what you are talking about.

Team Rubric

A

• All team members participate equally.
• The presentation is well-timed.
• The team takes the audience through the website in an engaging way.
• The presentation is smooth and has obviously been rehearsed with excellent transitions between speakers.

B

• All team members participate but one or two members do not participate equally.
• The presentation is well-timed but perhaps a little short or a little too long.
• The team takes the audience through the website in an engaging way.
• The presentation is smooth and has obviously been rehearsed with good transitions between speakers.

C

• Not all team members make an effort to participate in the presentation.
• The presentation is too short eg 3 minutes or too long eg 7 minutes.
• The team takes the audience through the website without enthusiasm.
• It is not obvious that the presentation has been rehearsed with poor transitions between speakers.

Individual Rubric

A

• The speaker speaks clearly and has positive posture.
• The presentation is well-timed.
• The speaker shares a personal project experience.
• Images of the presenter's work clearly help to support the speaker's presentation.
• The presentation is smooth and has obviously been rehearsed.

B

• The speaker speaks clearly and has a generally positive posture but may seem nervous.
• The presentation is well-timed but may be a little short or a little long.
• The speaker shares a personal project experience.
• The presentation is smooth and an obvious attempt has been made to rehearse it.

C

• The speaker does not speak clearly and has a poor presentation posture.
• The presentation is too short eg 1 minute or too long eg 4 minutes.
• The speaker does not share a personal experience - it is too general.
• The presentation does not clearly show that an effort has been made to rehearse it.
